NEW YORK TIMES PROFILES LINK FARM HOUSE

February 12, 2019 in Publications

We are thrilled to share the New York Times' profile of Link Farm House written by Tim McKeough. His elegant narrative about the design process astutely describes our objectives as a synthesis of the client's desires and the site's potential. You can read the whole article here.

Thanks to Tim and the Times for an excellent piece, and to Soo and Carolina for graciously opening their home.

COCKTAILS & CONVERSATIONS: JAMES & HAYES SLADE WITH FRED BERNSTEIN

January 15, 2019 in Events

January 17th, 6:30-8pm, Center for Architecture, 536 Laguardia Place, NYC

Cocktails & Conversation is a series of dialogues about design that join an architect with a critic, journalist, curator, or architectural historian to discuss current architecture and design issues at the Center for Architecture. Each program includes a custom-crafted cocktail—one inspired by the architects’ work and created especially for this event.

James and Hayes will be discussing a small handful of projects and focusing on how consideration of site can be a catalyst for their design process.
