AIA: Building Community Lecture

The Presidential Theme of “BUILDING COMMUNITY” , AIA New York President Hayes Slade, AIA, outlines key ways to increase Chapter engagement through programming, committees, and outreach to firms and individual members. Hayes Slade and James Slade were hosts at round table discussions at the 2023 Design For Freedom Summit held at Grace Farms. They joined industry leaders in architecture, interior design, manufacturing, engineering, and construction, alongside policy makers, owners, developers, engaged consumers and non-profits working to accelerate the movement towards eliminating forced labor from the building materials supply chain.
